Yes. Our providers are ready to assist with your mental healthcare needs as soon as possible. Schedule your appointment today.

Our practice is currently offering medication management, which is provided (if appropriate) after an in-depth psychiatric evaluation during your first appointment. We treat anxiety disorders (to include generalized anxiety, OCD, and panic, among others), mood disorders (to include depression and bipolar disorders), ADHD and other conditions.

We offer telehealth services, and the vast majority of appointments are currently conducted via telehealth. However, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has some rules in place around the prescribing of controlled medications (i.e. stimulants for ADHD, and some of the less-frequently prescribed as-needed anxiety and sleep medications), and the need to be seen in-person.

Most patient are able to connect with their smart phones, tablets or computer. We ask that sessions be done in a private place such as a home, office and not in a public place like restaurants, coffee shops or grocery stores to ensure confidentiality of your visit.

Easy! use our booking widget on this website to set up your appointment or call us at (240) 571-2453. When you book your appointment, we will email you a link to fill out new patient paperwork before your first visit.

We currently see Children from ages 10 and older.

We set aside this time, especially for you. We hope this time is as valuable for you. In the case of an emergency, we ask for a 24-hour notice not to incur a charge. No-show appointments are charged a $100 fee.

We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare and Maryland Medicaid

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, services can be covered in full or part. Please get in touch with your insurance provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychiatric/behavioral health services. We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?

Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

Do I need written approval from my primary care physician before seeing a mental health provider?

Our practice is in-network with Cigna, Optum/United Healthcare plans, Humana, Medicare, Medicaid and Magellan at this time. If you do not have any of these plans, our office can still see you as a self-pay patient, and you may qualify for some reimbursement from your insurer if you have out-of-network benefits.

Your safety is extremely important to us. If you are in emotional distress or thinking about hurting yourself, please make use of these resources:

1. If you are having a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to your local emergency department.

2. Text: The Crisis Text Line provides 24-hour free and confidential help. Text ‘HOME’ to 741-741 to connect with a trained crisis counselor immediately.

3. Call: You can call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 to talk with a live counselor 24 hours a day. Help is always available. We also recommend reaching out to a family member or friend to let them know that you are having these thoughts and to ask for help and support.

Your privacy is our priority. We adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and your providers are HIPPA compliant. All information shared during sessions is kept confidential unless there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

Duty To Warn: medical providers are mandated by law to disclose pertinent information discussed in appointments if the patient:

Has intent or plan to harm another person. We are required to inform the intended victim and notify legal authorities.

When there is reasonable cause to believe child/elder abuse or neglect has occurred.

When an emergency situation requires the sharing of information.

When required for insurance billing purposes.

When a court order is received.
